Caliber: .450/.455
Condition: ~95% blue
Bore: Very Good+, Shiny

Webley WG Target Model, .450/.455 caliber. This has the 7 1/2-inch barrel marked “Army & Navy C.S.L.” and an adjustable rear sight. The checkered walnut grips show a chip on the left panel. The cylinder is two numbers off, likely a factory error, as the overall condition is consistent. The blue rates about 95%, and the bore is a shiny VG+.

The Milner research letter indicates that this was sold in 1908 to A&N C.S.L. and again to Major George Peabody Scholfield, R.E., of the Royal Engineers. Scholfield later became a Brigadier-General. Much military history is included, including some Boer War service. This has its original blue felt-lined English oak case with the A&N C.S.L. label on the lid and some accessories.
