Smith & Wesson Model 1917 Revolver, .45acp. This is marked United States Property under the barrel and US Army Model 1917 on the butt. This has the proper smooth walnut grips without medallions. This is one of the 1st 42000 with GHS inspector marking on the left side of the frame by the hammer. This has all matching numbers, about 9-% blue and the bore is excellent.
