DWM 1917 P.08 Luger, 9mm. This is German WWI Imperial proofed on the right receiver and has worn checkered walnut grips with a chip on the left panel. This is mostly assembled from different pistols. The blue rates about 40% and the bore is VG. A current-manufacture magazine is inserted in the gun.

Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken during World War I, the P.08 was Germany’s standard military sidearm and is distinguished by its iconic toggle-lock action. The 1917 chamber date and Imperial proofs connect this example to German wartime production during the height of the conflict.
