Maker: Walther Country / Era: Germany, WWII Type/Model: P-38 Pistol Magazine Caliber: 9mm Parabellum Markings: Double Eagle/359 proofs on the spine; numbered 927E on the base Capacity: 8 rounds Condition: About 70% finish remains
This is an original Walther P-38 9mm pistol magazine. It has the double Eagle/359 proofs on the spine and the number 927E on the base. About 70% of the finish remains. It is proper for an AC-41 pistol.
Fun fact: During WWII, German arms makers stamped secret letter codes on their guns instead of company names, to hide who made them from Allied intelligence. “ac” was Walther’s code, so “AC-41” means a Walther pistol made in 1941. Eagle/359 was the Walther inspector’s mark.
