Description

Colt 1911, .45acp. This is marked United States Property on the right side of the frame, and RIA on the right side of the frame. This is a rebuild from miscellaneous WWI-WWII parts, and these were reissued to our boys for use in Korea and Vietnam. This one has a Springfield Armory replacement slide with brown plastic grips, a HS=High Standard marked barrel and an R=Risdon marked magazine. This has 99+% of the arsenal refinish, and an excellent bore. This comes with its original numbered RIA Kraft box with cleaning brush. This was sold commercially in the late 1950’s-early 1960’s, usually to NRA members.
