Description

Colt Police Positive, .38 caliber. Built in 1922 with the replaced 4″ barrel with patent date of 1926 and hard rubber grips. There is an unknown #880, likely internal Colt work order number, on the left side of the frame under the grip, and the factory rework ampersand on the right side of the frame behind the trigger. This retains outstanding 99+% Factory refinished blue and the bore is excellent. This has an original, maroon cardboard box with the test target and cleaning brush. The included, Colt factory archive letter indicates that this was shipped to H&D Folsom in New York.
