Webley WS Target Model, .450/.455 caliber. This has the 6″ barrel with Wilkinson inventory number “W6209” on the left side, an adjustable rear sight, and checkered walnut grips. This has all matching numbers, about 98% factory nickel, and the bore is a shiny VG. This is said to be the only known factory nickel-plated WS Target Model.

The back strap is inscribed “Major R.A. Lyall I.A.” The included Milner research letter indicates that this was sold to Robert Adolphus Lyall. Much military history, photographs, and the book I Can Never Say Enough About My Men, in which Lyall is noted, are included, along with the proper brown leather holster, belt, and ammunition pouch.
