Webley Mark VI Service Revolver, .45 ACP. Dated 1917 on the left side of the frame, this revolver has a 6-inch barrel and checkered horn grips. The backstrap bears a New Zealand military property mark with “N” and “Z” flanking a Broad Arrow, along with the marking “11/19-234.” The cylinder was renumbered by an armorer. The revolver retains approximately 60% of its blue finish, and the bore is VG+.
The Broad Arrow was traditionally used to denote government property, and collector references interpret “11/19” as the date the revolver entered New Zealand service.
