Webley Mark I Self Loading Automatic pistol, 455 caliber with proper black Bakelite grips. This is dated 1913, and has the Australian Military Broad Arrow within a D proof on the top of the slide. About 520 were shipped to Australia, and This is 1 of 80 pistol shipped to the HMS Australia-Portsmouth Dockyard, as listed in the Bruce book on Webley’s, pages 243. There is a rack number #28 on the back strap, and the magazine is #44. This has about 90% thinning blue and an excellent bore.
