Smith & Wesson Model 1903 Hand Ejector, .32 Long, 5th Change. This revolver was shipped from the factory on July 24, 1912, with a 3 1/4-inch barrel and in the white. According to the included Smith & Wesson factory archive letter, this was normally done for a revolver intended to be engraved. It is finely engraved and fitted with mother-of-pearl grips featuring Smith & Wesson medallions. The right grip panel shows an old repair. The revolver retains more than 99% of its nickel finish, and the bore is excellent. It comes with a period retailer’s blue-felt-lined walnut case with a replaced lid, pearl knobs, key, brush, and cleaning patches.
