Description
Mauser 1896 Broomhandle, 7.63mm. This has original 33 lines on walnut grips, and is German WWI Imperial proofed on the right side of the receiver. This is also Austrian proof/dated WN16 on the right side of the chamber. The pistol has all matching serial numbers with an unnumbered firing pin retainer. The thinning blue rates about 80% and the bore is fair. This comes with a rarely seen, Austrian proofed-on the lid wooden holster shoulder stock, numbered to a different gun-but was likely mated to this pistol at the Austrian arsenal. The stock shows that it has had a large belt loop on it at 1 time, which has now been removed. Overall, a very had to find assembly.
