This desirable 12-shot, long-grip, long-slide variation is dated 1928 beneath the right grip panel and features the proper checkered horn grips with the Royal logo. Also bears a secondary inventory number commonly associated with Japanese officer private-purchase specimens. Approximately 30% of the original blue finish remains, and the bore rates Very Good Plus. Pistols associated with Japanese private-purchase military officers are seldom encountered, making this a particularly interesting collector’s example.
