Early Japanese Nambu Type 94 pistol chambered in 8mm Nambu and dated 12.5 (May 1937). Features the correct black checkered Bakelite grips, Japanese military proof marks, and all matching serial numbers, including the proper flat-base magazine. Retains approximately 98% original blue finish with an excellent bore. With only approximately 150 pistols produced bearing this specific date code, this is an exceptionally scarce early-production example. The Type 94 served as Japan’s standard military sidearm during the late 1930s and throughout World War II.
