Description
Hess Single Shot flintlock belt pistol, .50 caliber. The bright finished lock plate is marked Hess a Zweybrucken. This measures about 14″ overall. The carved walnut stock is excellent. This has silver fixtures, and the original rom rod. Circa 1750, this appears to be unfired with most of the blue remaining on the barrel, and the silver fixtures turning to an unpolished black patina. Overall excellent. Antique.
