Description

Mauser P.08, 9mm, Mauser Banner-1940. This is a Police Contract, which has the receiver drilled for the sear safety, but never installed. Also this has the German Eagle N proof on the receiver, front of barrel and toggle link. There is an German  Eagle 655 proof on the right receiver, but no Test proof on the side of the barrel, since it was already eagle N proofed on the front. This has checkered walnut grips, and straw small parts. This has all matching numbers to include the aluminum base magazine. The blue rates at 99% and the bore is Mint. This full rig includes a nice brown leather hard shell holster, dated 1940, an eagle 655 proofed tool, and a spare, unnumbered fxo magazine. Only about 800 were transfer from Police to Military in 1940.
