Wilkinson Pattern 1895 Steel infantry Sword. Sold in 1895 to F.G. Marsh=Frank Graham Marsh. This has the Milner research letter and a copy of the Wilkinson ledger sheet. This officer obtained the rank of Brigadier General in 1918. He served with the 9th Gurkha Rifles unit, and earned many awards to include the DSO and CMC. Much Boer War, and WWI history is included, along with photos of this well decorated General. This has a leather wrapped scabbard and leather tassel. Overall VG+.
