British Wilkinson 1831 General officers Mameluke, Sold to Lord Ernest William Hamilton in 1878. This has a copy of the Wilkinson ledger sheet. Hamilton was an author of 2 books-The First Seven Divisions: Being a Detailed Account of the Fighting from Mons to Ypres and Forty Years On-Both included. This deluxe sword has the 11th Hussars-Egypt etched on the blade and an Egypt crest added to the Deluxe scabbard and Portepee. Overall VG+ with a Photo of Hamilton wearing the said sword, along with other photo and much history included. A fantastic package.
