Savage 1917, .380 caliber. Built without a serial number, a spur hammer and with smooth factory Mother of Pearl grips. The late matte blue rates about 95% and the bore is excellent. This is likely a Lunch Box, as you can see some adjustment to the rear of the frame to make it flush. This exact Pistol is pictured page 195 in Savage Pistols by Bailey Brower.
