DWM P.08 Luger. This is a pattern like the 1920 Commercial models, .30 caliber. This has an 8″(200mm) barrel without an adjustable rear sight. All parts are un-proofed, with Germany stamped on the receiver. Many parts have a retailer added #2, while many others are simply unnumbered. This retains 99% blue, and the bore is excellent. The flat board wooden shoulder stock is also numbered to match. The parts were likely imported post WWI by a USA importer IE: Stoeger, Abercrombie & Fitch or Pacific Arms Corp, and assembled per each customer’s order. An interesting look into the commercial markets pre depression.
