Description
Mauser 1896, 7.63mm. This is an early flat side, Large Ring Hammer Model 1899 Italian contract. Some 5000 were manufactured, few survive in the USA. This has some small parts numbered to other pistols-Floorplate & breach bolt. This has the Italian DV proof mark on the left receiver. This has been noted in the “System Mauser” Book. This retains about 95% blue and the bore is typical VG-VG+.
