Colt 1851 Navy, 36 caliber percussion. Built in 1853, this has the 7 1/2″ barrel with the New York address. This sports the standard smooth walnut grips which show a chip on the left. This has all matching numbers including the wedge. There is much of the original silver plate on the back strap and trigger guard. There is a pleasing patina overall with about 20% of the cylinder scene remaining. The bore is Vg and a period black leather, holster missing the flap is included. The action works properly. Antique.
